Part One

     This is a series of Christmas letters from 1990 to 2012. Eventually, Valerie asked me to write them all out, by hand, into a bound note-book, which I did, with illustrations. Unfortunately, my handwriting will not bear reproduction, but as the text and illustrations may be interesting, I decided to replicate them in a manner suitable for your purposes, as best I could, and as you will see, in an astonishingly variable degree. The juxtaposition of text to illustration is, shall we say ‘quaint’, in spots.  Please feel free to civilise it if and where you feel so moved.

     I don’t think part one needs any printed intro;I think it’s self explanatory, but I have put in a brief intro to part two, when it comes up.
