’90  Exhibition        Nov.

Regular readers will remember how, last year (sorry for newcomers, but back numbers are not available) our noble Hero was recovering from being the victim of a three and a half grand burglary, and had consequently given Walrus the Viking Funeral Treatment, in favour of plans to open a shore-based establishment.
Well I can report that it all came to pass, and we have just finished a very healthy season at the Sign of the Barneybee, in the Chandlers’ Yard, at Ludham Bridge- and I didn’t have to pump the bilges once! The new establishment may not have the romance of Walrus, but it doesn’t have the rotten side decks or the Cinemascope tingle-patches either.
Of course, I shall continue to make this annual pilgrimage to lay my wares before the discerning eyes of the worthy burghers of Norwich (I said ‘burghers’ again, Missus) on the off chance that a few of your number may wish to adopt some of my ‘babies’, and take them home to love and cherish them. If the finances won’t run to it, this week, however, not to worry- when I pack up here, I shall move back to Ludham Bridge, and starting Fri.Nov.16th, I shall be open Fri. Sat. Sun., 11am- 4pm. The last day will be Sun. 23rd (the draw for the free painting) leaving just one clear day to weave our spells of turkey and tinsel, brandy and bells, holly and glad tidings.
